Emily Bird (she/her)
I value bringing authenticity, creativity and compassion when working with neurodivergent folks. My approach is person-centred, warm, and trauma sensitive. Accessibility, movement, playful expression and unmasking is welcome! I take the perspective that no one is broken, and am resistant to systems that pathologise and attempt to โfixโ people.
I am particularly passionate about supporting neurodivergent adults to build self understanding. My other joys include endless learning (and talking!) about psychology, making art, social justice advocacy, and noticing beautiful things in the natural world.
Oh and I will be delighted if you introduce me to one of your pets. ๐ป๐ถ๐ข

I see adults only (18+ years)
I love witnessing people engage in their passions and experience the wholeness of what it means to be human, connecting with one another in community, and listening to their needs. I continue to learn from sociological discourse, including intersectional, feminist, decolonising, de-pathologising, and anti-oppression teachings. I acknowledge that I donโt have all the answers.
My commitment is one of continuous curiosity and adjustment.
