Lisa Boland (she/her)

I love learning alongside my clients as we figure out what brought them here and where they are going next. I especially enjoy untangling clients' beliefs about themselves from the neuro-normative expectations that have been placed upon them and empowering them to become advocates for themselves and their children.

If given the opportunity I am also available to info dump at length about autism, adhd, neuroaffirming practice, homeschooling, George Harrison's love life/songwriting and the Tudors.

  • I have over a decade of experience in both the private and not for profit sector. I work with clients of all ages in a neuroaffirming, trauma-informed manner through my preferred modalities of CBT, ACT, Play Therapy and EMDR. I’m also a homeschooling parent to two young boys and have a passion for sharing my clinical and lived experience with other families using a compassion and neuroscience based approach to parenting.

I have a particular interest in working with the Neurodivergent community. I offer assessments to identify Autism and ADHD, supports neurodiverse families navigating life in a neurotypical world and tailors all interventions to my client’s neurotype.
